From January 28th to February 7th, 2015, our team was on a research trip through Andalusia. The Islamic and Mudéjar buildings of Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada were the focus of our attention. Beside vast field visits, the journey served for a photographic campaign of the Alcázar and the Real Monasterio de Santa Clara of Sevilla, the cathedral-mosque, synagogue and Capilla San Bartolomé of Córdoba as well as the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra and the Madraza of Granada, realized by the photographers Thomas Scheidt and Christian Stein from the Bildarchiv Foto Marburg. Discussions and exchange of knowledge with local specialists was again an important asset for us. Our thanks go to Miguel Angel Tabales Rodríguez, Magdalena Valor Piechotta, Pablo Oliva Muñoz and Miguel González Giménez in Sevilla, Alberto León Muñoz and Amira Kedier in Córdoba and David García Cueto in Granada.
